Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has secured Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for a cloud-based technology platform designed to help government officials manage data on constituents.
The company said Thursday that it can now offer its IQ FedCloud software-as-a-service application to public sector organizations through the FedRAMP marketplace. Originally named Intranet Quorum, the tool passed security assessments by the General Services Administration, a third-party assessor and a sponsoring agency.
“With this authorization, we’ll be able to continue this important work with a wider range of customers for many years to come,” said Angie Heise, president of Leidos’ civil group. Heise added that the company has provided data analytics tools to the government sector over the past two decades as part of efforts to help agencies deliver service and engage with the public.
