Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential five-year, $100M task order to help the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration manage security of the agency’s enterprise and cyber operations.
The company said Wednesday it will support the NOAA Cyber Security Center in efforts to continuously monitor and secure the network within an asset base that supports more than 20K users.
Under the task order, the company will also provide information to help Commerce Department bureaus make cybersecurity-related decisions.
Angie Heise, president of Leidos’ civil group, said the company helps customers implement analysis and network defense approaches meant to increase mission resiliency.
“Our technical advisory group to the program has more than 50 years of security experience.”
The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
