Laurent Eskenazi, senior vice president and managing director for the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Cubic’s (NYSE: CUB) transportation systems business, will serve as acting president of CTS, starting Jan. 13.
He will take on the responsibility of Matt Cole, who will step down from his post as SVP and president of CTS by the end of January in pursuit of a leadership role in another industry, Cubic said Tuesday.
“During this time of transition, Laurent brings extensive strategic and operational experience in ticketing and revenue collection globally and we are confident in his ability to serve in this interim role,” said Bradley Feldmann, chairman, president and CEO of Cubic and a previous Wash100 award winner.
Eskenazi oversees Cubic’s transportation operations in Germany, Sweden and the U.K. in his role as SVP and managing director of EMEA. He previously worked at Thales, where he was responsible for the operations of the revenue collection systems business in nine countries.
