L3Harris Secures $871M Army Electronic-Time Fuze Supply Contract; Jon Rambeau Quoted

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has received a potential five-year, $871 million contract from the U.S. Army to supply M762A1 and M767A1 electronic-time fuzes in support of U.S. missions and those of allies and partner countries.

“This contract demonstrates our significant contribution to replenishing our nation’s critical munitions inventory,” Jon Rambeau, president of integrated mission systems at L3Harris, said in a statement published Tuesday.

According to the Department of Defense, Army Contracting Command will determine work locations and funding upon award of each task order and expects work to run through Jan. 4, 2029.

The M762A1 and M767A1 ET fuzes work to provide electronic time and point detonating capabilities needed for artillery projectiles and are used in 105mm and 155mm weapon systems. These fuzes can be set manually or with an inductive setter.
