Kratos Defense and Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS) has won a potential $579 million contract to help the U.S. Space Force sustain a unified command and control capability for military satellite communications.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers sustainment and post-production development services for the Command-and-Control System Consolidated system used for satcom telemetry, tracking and command, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Space Systems Command will obligate $6.3 million on a subsequent task and delivery order using the Space Force’s fiscal 2024 operations and maintenance funds.
Work will occur at Schriever Space Force Base and Peterson SFB in Colorado and Vandenberg SFB in California through May 30, 2032.
Kratos has been the prime CCS-C contractor since 2002.
