KBR Wins Potential $93M Navy Combat Integration System Support IDIQ

KBR‘s (NYSE: KBR) government services business has won a potential five-year, $92.6M contract to engineer and produce datalink systems and associated platforms for the U.S. Navy’s combat operations.

The company will provide in-service engineering services and technical support for the branch’s combat integration and identification systems as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Work will involve logistics, technical management, system integration, supply system management, training support, quality assurance and laboratory maintenance efforts.

The Navy also tasked KBR to test and repair counter-unmanned aerial systems.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division received three bids for the IDIQ through an electronic solicitation process and will obligate funds upon issuance of each order.
