KBR(NYSE: KBR) will help the Department of Defense transform its cyber capabilities under an approximately $199 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
The company said Tuesday it will support the Technical Director’s Office within the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific’s Program Executive Office Digital and Enterprise Services over a five-year period.
To transform DOD’s zero trust capability, KBR will conduct research, analysis, assessments and testing activities focused on advanced technology experiments.
Work will address critical technology areas for the Pentagon and will be performed in Charleston, South Carolina and San Diego, California.
“We are excited to play a significant role in the digital transformation and to expand upon our zero trust capabilities,” said Stuart Bradie, president and CEO of KBR. “This win allows KBR to provide valuable technology and mission expertise and showcase a capability that benefits the United States Department of Defense.”
The award was made under the DOD Information Analysis Center’s multiple-award contract vehicle.
