The U.S. Army has awarded KBR‘s government services unit a pair of task order modifications worth $116 million combined for logistics support to U.S. military programs in Europe and the Arabian Peninsula.
KBRwyle will continue to support forward planning, maintenance, base operations and weapon transportation services under a $70 million modification as part of efforts to help the Defense Department address the U.S. European Command’s requirements, the company said Tuesday.
The second modification is valued at $46 million and covers facilities management, fire protection, waste management, maintenance, laundry and transportation services for U.S. forces in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
Both orders were issued under the Army’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV contract.
KBR said it has supported U.S. military logistics operations over the past 20 years.
