KBR said Monday its government solutions segment includes four business units: defense and intel, formerly Centauri and defense systems engineering businesses; science and space, formerly known as space and mission solutions; readiness and sustainment, formerly called logistics; and international.
The Houston-based government contractor also changed the name of its technology solutions business segment to sustainable technology solutions to reflect its portfolio of advanced tech platforms meant to help customers meet their sustainability goals.
KBR earned $5.8 billion in 2020 revenue, reflecting an increase of $128 million from the previous fiscal year, and $478 million in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization.
The company achieved a FY 2020 book-to-bill, excluding privately financed initiatives, of 1.2x in its government solutions segment and posted revenue growth of 23 percent in the defense and intel business unit and 12 percent in science and space.
