KBR (NYSE: KBR) has secured a 56-month, $46M task order for information technology support to the Naval Air Systems Commands logistics operations at a U.S. Navy facility in Patuxent River, Md.
The company said Tuesday it will provide research, development, engineering, integration, testing, maintenance and training services for the NAVAIR Logistics and Maintenance Information Systems and Technology Divisions IT platforms through the cost-plus-fixed-fee task order.
Byron Bright, president of KBR’s U.S. government services arm, said the company is looking forward to continuing their logistics IT services to support operations across the naval aviation enterprise.
The company has supported NAVAIR over the past two decades.
