Houston-based KBR said Wednesday it intends to retain most of SGT’s current structure and integrate the business into its government services arm KBRwyle.
SGT offers technology platforms and services to NASA and other government space programs. It currently supports the space agency’s Johnson Space Center under a potential $1.12 billion contract awarded in October of last year.
Stuart Bradie, president and CEO of KBR, said the combined organization aims to identify new growth opportunities and create synergies across the civil, military and commercial markets.
