John Wasson
The board of directors of ICF (NASDAQ:ICFI) has approved President and Chief Operating Officer John Wasson to succeed Sudhakar Kesavan as CEO of the global consulting services provider by Oct. 1.
Wasson will also serve as a board member while Kesavan, who has led the company since 1999, will become executive chairman as part of the succession plan unveiled Thursday.
Throughout his 32-year tenure, Wasson has managed client work in the firm’s energy, public health, disaster recovery and environment business areas.
He oversees business development, acquisition integration, recruitment and client-facing team functions in his current capacity.
Wasson is a board member at the Northern Virginia Technology Council and chair of the dean’s executive committee at University of California Davis College of Engineering.
