Intrepid Solutions and Services has won a potential six-year, $45.4 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide information technology support services to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday that Intrepid will help NASIC maintain, update and operate the facility’s current infrastructure comprised of user accounts, workstations, independent networks, circuits, storage and servers.
Work will occur at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio through Oct. 31, 2022.
DoD noted the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center received seven offers for the contract and will obligate $5 million at the time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds.
The Air Force established NASIC to produce integrated, predictive intelligence in the air, space and cyberspace domains to support military operations, force modernization and policymaking efforts across the department.
