Stephanie O’Sullivan, formerly principal deputy director and chief operating officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, has been named to Battelle’s board of directors.
O’Sullivan will also serve on Battelle’s science and technology and community benefit committee as part of her appointment to the board, the Columbus, Ohio-based nonprofit research and development company said Wednesday.
John Welch, Battelle board chairman, said O’Sullivan’s federal experience, technology background and leadership will help advance Battelle’s mission.
O’Sullivan retired from ODNI in January 2017 after a more than 30-year career in the intelligence community where she held leadership roles at the CIA and the Office of Naval Intelligence.
She previously served as a program manager at TRW prior to joining the intelligence community.
