Cybersecurity company Kasada has raised $7M from In-Q-Tel and other investors in a Series A funding round meant to further develop and facilitate the delivery of a platform designed to protect organizations from malicious bot attacks.
Sam Crowther, founder and CEO of Kasada, said in a statement published Nov. 26 existing Australia-based investors Reinventure Group, Our Innovation Fund and CSIRO Innovation Fund of Main Sequence Ventures also took part in the funding round.
Kasadas software-as-a-service offering works to detect and mitigate data scraping, account takeovers and other malicious automation attacks on mobile apps, websites and application programming interfaces in less than 30 minutes.
Pascal Podvin, chief revenue officer of Kasada, said IQT will help the company speed up the delivery of its technology platform to further help companies in the U.S., Australia and the U.K. counter bot attacks.
