Illuminate, a data collection and analysis services provider, has received a contract from a European country to provide cybersecurity support services for a national telecommunications network, GovCon Wire has learned.
Illuminate said it will offer its cyber intrusion detection and forensic analysis platform, Watchdog, through its partnership with telecom security company P1 Security to help protect the communications network from cyberthreats.
Watchdog is designed to detect traffic anomalies in Signaling System 7, Diameter Interconect and other communications protocols, identify threats using machine learning techniques and conduct live monitoring and forensic analysis of events.
Under the partnership, P1 Security will support Watchdog through its suite of software offerings, including VKB telecom network vulnerability database and PTM telecom signaling IDS.
