The U.S. Air Force has awardedHewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE: HPE) a 10-year, $443.2 million contract to support information technology systems and applications for U.S. Strategic Command.
Five offers were submitted to the Air Force’s 55th Contracting Squadron for the Stratcom Information Technology Capabilities Contract II and the obligated amount of $451, 217 is from fiscal year 2016 operation and maintenance funds, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
According to a FedBizOpps notice, the ITCC II program covers system engineering, integration, operational, logistical, maintenance, configuration management and system administration support to the command’s IT infrastructure.
The Stratcom infrastructure includes multiple local area networks that comprise approximately 13, 000 personal computers, workstations and fixed and mobile servers running on commercial or government software, the notice states.
HPE will perform work at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and is scheduled to finish June 30, 2026.
