The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded a potential 10-year, $1.03B contract to Honeywell International (NYSE: HON) for technical services in support of aircraft power components and equipment.
The company will perform these services to support ground start carts; C-130, A-10, E-3, B-1 and B-2 auxiliary power units; F-15 components; and F-16 turbine power units, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The sole-source contract holds a base period of three years and six months, and options to continue work for additional six years and six months.
The DLA will obligate U.S. Air Force funds allotted for fiscal 2019 to 2029 working capital to finance work that will take place in Utah through July 31, 2028.
