OMNITEC provides cloud, advanced engineering platforms, strategic advisory and analytical support services to federal and defense agencies and has developed capabilities in analytics and data harmonization, media analysis, web-enabled content management and enterprise communication areas since 1999, Gryphon said Thursday.
"OMNITEC's strength and experience with information systems, software and process improvement is a strategic fit with Gryphon's focus on digital transformation engineering to help solve our national security's most urgent needs," said Gryphon CEO P.J. Braden.
Kirk Konert, a partner at AE Industrial Partners, said the acquisition aligns with Gryphon’s strategy to form a technical services and digital engineering firm that supports the country’s national security programs.
Kirkland & Ellis and BDO respectively served as legal and financial advisers to Gryphon in the transaction. Greenberg Traurig acted as OMNITEC’s legal adviser and Houlihan Lokey advised the firm on the deal’s financial aspect.
