Granicus has bought California-based government records management contractor SouthTech Systems for an undisclosed sum to add a platform used to automate agencies’ filing processes.
SouthTech developed a technology that works to help public sector clerks and recorders manage records such as birth, marriage, land and death certificates, Granicus said Tuesday.
Mark Hynes, CEO at Granicus, said manual processes and aging legacy systems can affect local agencies’ capacity to manage operations and deliver services to constituents.
Hynes added the combined company looks to support records processors with modern technology.
Denver-based Granicus offers cloud-based technology products and services intended to help government organizations manage digital experience for citizens.
