Govini has received a potential five-year, $400M indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Department of Defense for data access and analysis support, Defense News reported Monday.
Under the IDIQ contract, the data analytics company will provide DoD offices access to its dataset to help them generate savings and find efficiencies.
Tara Murphy Dougherty, president of Govini’s national security practice, told the publication the company’s dataset could help DoD reduce the need for external consultants. “This contract puts data directly in the hands of the true subject matter experts, who work within [the Office of the Secretary of Defense] and the services,” Murphy Dougherty said.
