Global Government Services has been awarded a pair of contract modifications worth $22.9M combined to help Naval Sea Systems Command maintain vessels.
The Department of Defense said Thursday both modifications exercise the second option period of two previously awarded contracts covering support services to the NAVSEA Inactive Ships Maintenance Office in Bremerton, Wash., and the Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
Work will involve ship inspection, receipt, survey, repairs and disposal. DoD noted that Global may repair electrical, structural and mechanical systems as part of the exercised options.
The cumulative value of contract services in Washington is $60.7M and the potential value of work in Hawaii is $45.8M.
