General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business unit has secured a position on a potential five-year, $975 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for simulation and training support services to the U.S. Army.
Work under the Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support contract encompasses constructive, live, first-person and virtual gaming exercises, General Dynamics said Wednesday.
GDIT can also vie for task orders to provide technical, logistical and administrative services for designated mission training complexes.
Rich Farinacci, vice president and general manager of GDIT’s professional services and training solutions sector, said the company aims to help increase Army and National Guard readiness through mission-command and integrated training services.
General Dynamics has supported Army training programs over the past 10 years.
