General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information iechnology business has received a potential five-year, $81.3 million task order from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command to support the IT and cybersecurity operations of the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Crane Division.
The company said Tuesday it will collaborate with Purdue University and 10 Indiana-based firms to help NSWC Crane Division manage enterprise IT functions, engineer systems protect data and secure cross domains.
Work also covers information exchange and technical advisory services management.
Bernie Guerry, senior vice president of the intelligence solutions division and chief operating officer at General Dynamics Information Technology, said the company aims to help strengthen the security of NSWC Crane missions.
