Naval Sea Systems Command received three offers for the DDG 91 vessel’s fiscal 2022 depot modernization effort through a full and open competition, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Navy will obligate $98.7 million at the time of award from the branch’s FY 2021 other procurement and operation and maintenance funds, with $5.2 million of the obligations expiring at the end of the current fiscal year.
Work under the firm-fixed-price contract will take place in San Diego, through July 2023.
