General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has received a potential two-year, $270.2 million contract to help the U.S. Army install and integrate legacy unique components into M1A2 Abrams main battle tanks.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the company will also support the procurement, stocking and storage of SEPv2 legacy and SEPv3 unique component sets as well as acquisition of integrated product support requirements, special tooling and test equipment for M1A2.
General Dynamics’ land systems business will perform contract work in Alabama, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania through Aug. 31, 2019.
