General Electric‘s (NYSE: GE) aviation business has secured a $1.33B contract modification for delivery of T700 rotary aircraft engines to U.S. and international defense customers.
The company will provide T700s for H-60 Black Hawk, AH-64 Apache and other helicopter programs of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, other government entities and foreign military sales clients, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Army Contracting Command received one bid for the contract and will determine performance locations and funds with each order.
GE Aviation will perform work under the modification through Dec. 31, 2024.
T700 engines have powered helicopter platforms in marine patrol, air rescue, special operations and other missions.
