Marko Bourne
Marko Bourne, a 10-year veteran of Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and former senior official at the Federal Emergency Management Administration, has joined ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) as senior vice president of disaster management.
He brings 35 years of disaster response, mitigation, resilience and recovery program experience to his new position and will help expand ICF’s presence in that area, the company said.
œICF is committed to building individual and national resilience and restoration support to affected communities as the costs and loss from disasters continues to rise,” Bourne said.
He most recently served as principal, director and officer in charge of Booz Allen’s homeland security, disaster assistance and emergency practice. He led its work with FEMA, the Department of Homeland Security and the DHS’ National Protection and Programs Directorate.
Prior to Booz Allen, he managed policy and strategy development, transformation management and program analysis functions at FEMA.
Bourne is an executive member of the Preparedness Leadership Council International.
