In its most recent Executive Spotlight interview, ExecutiveBiz spoke with Tommy Gardner, chief technology officer at HP Federal and a key member of Executive Mosaic’s GovCon Expert program, about government agencies’ implementation of zero trust technology and other latest trends such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, 5G and cloud. He also discussed the challenges related to the mentioned innovation.
Here’s an excerpt from the interview with Gardner about zero trust:
“We follow the Zero Trust philosophy and we believe in it. We’re happy that the government is picking up the ball and joining us. The fact is that if you’re going to have true cybersecurity in all systems across the country, it must be a joint effort between government, industry and academia. It’s going to be hard enough to win the global cyber fight, we need to work together as a team.”
On March 10, ExecutiveBiz Events will host the Applying AI to Data for Cyber Hygiene and National Security Forum. It will focus on how government agencies are working to integrate advanced AI/ML technology into their critical infrastructures to defend against cyber attacks. Register now for the upcoming event to hear from notable industry and government officials.
