ECS has secured a potential five-year, $154 million contract to help a U.S. Navy shore command modernize network transport infrastructure for the branch’s emergency response operations.
The award encompasses information technology governance and network services to the N61 branch under Commander, Navy Installations Command for continued public safety network modernization work, the company said Tuesday.
IT services will include cybersecurity, systems engineering and software development.
John Heneghan, president of ECS and a two-time Wash100 Award winner, said the company will help CNIC manage operational emergency service systems used to protect the U.S. forces and the general public.
