Dynetics has received a potential five-year, $159 million task orderto provide support services to the weapons development and integration directorate within the U.S. Army‘s Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center.
The company said Thursday it will help WDI design, develop, prototype, fabricate and simulate multiple types of sensor, warheads, fuzes, safety and arm devices.
Work also covers integration of ground and aviation platforms, hypersonic engineering, testing of propulsion technology and support for navigation, control, electronic and computer systems.
The task order was awarded through theGeneral Services Administration™s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract vehicle.
Dynetics will lead an industry team of more than 20 subcontractors to perform contract work in Huntsville, Alabama.
