Charles Stark Draper Laboratory will produce missile system guidance technology for the U.S. Navy and U.K. government under a potential three-year, $132.9 million contract modification.
Work also covers failure verification, test, repair and recertification of inertial measurement units, electronic assemblies and electronic modules for the Trident (D5) MK 6 guidance system, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
DoD noted the full obligated amount comprises $114.8 million from the Navy’s fiscal 2017 weapons procurement funds and $18.1 million from the U.K. funds.
Draper Lab is scheduled to finish work under the modification Jan. 30, 2021.
