Diversified Maintenance Systems has won a potential five-year, $90M contract to provide specialty trade construction services at one U.S. Marine Corps installation and three naval bases located in California. Utah-based DMS will perform design-bid-build tasks for electrical, mechanical, paving, roofing, flooring and fencing projects under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The company will also support installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and fire suppression and protection systems. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest received 18 proposals for the IDIQ and obligated $5,000 at the time of award.
Locations of work are Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and Naval Bases Coronado, Point Loma and San Diego. The Pentagon expects contractor services to be complete by August 2024.
