The Department of Health and Human Services has awarded professional services companyDMI a potential five-year, $112M blanket purchase agreement to update the department’s electronic handbook for healthcare business procedures including COVID-19 financial assistance.
DMI will help the HHS Health Resources and Services Administration modernize and sustain the online EHB platform and related applications through services such as DevSecOps software development, hybrid cloud migration and infrastructure automation, the companysaid Friday.
The EHB system includes “handbooks” containing electronic forms, workflow guides and other resources intended to assist health organizations in grants management activities.
HRSA utilizes EHB to help disadvantaged communities avail of healthcare services including COVID-19 claims reimbursement and funding support.
Jay Sunny Bajaj, founder and CEO of DMI, said the award builds on a six-year collaboration between the company and HRSA to support the latter's mission-critical operations.
DMI is headquartered in Bethesda, Md., and offers tools and services encompassing technical areas such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, internet of things, cloud computing and e-commerce.
