Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a three-year, $149.5M delivery order from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide consumable parts for the U.S. Air Force's KC-46 Pegasus tanker aircraft.
DLA placed the order under a five-year basic ordering agreement supporting the KC-46 Commercial Common Program, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Fiscal 2021 through fiscal 2023 defense working capital funds are being used on this award and work will take place at a contractor facility in Missouri.
The Boeing KC-46 is built to carry people and cargo, identify threats via a multilayer protection system and refuel military aircraft platforms that support international aerial refueling standards.
