Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has won a potential seven-year, $950M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver Federal Supply Group 80 products to the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps.
DLA received three offers for the firm-fixed-priced, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will use fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2022 defense working capital funds on orders, the Department of Defense said Friday. The IDIQ has a three-year base period that runs through Sept. 5, 2022, followed by a pair of two-year options.
The Pentagon’s Office of the Secretary of Defense uses the Federal Supply Classification approach to identify and categorize items under the Federal Cataloging Program. Federal Supply Group 80 encompasses adhesives, brushes, paints and sealers.
