DHS Selects Chenega Infinity for Potential $117M Law Enforcement Training Center Security Services Contract

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded a potential eight-year, $117 million contract to Chantilly, Virginia-based contractor Chenega Infinity for security services at four DHS-operated law enforcement training centers in the U.S.

DHS announced the award in a Wednesday FedBizOpps notice and said the company will be responsible for round-the-clock security enforcement and asset protection services at the centers.

The contract includes an initial base year that includes a 60-day phase-in period that takes effect Oct. 1 and up to seven option years.

Chenega Infinity personnel deployed to the centers will provide and maintain all management, supervision, manpower, training, equipment, supplies, licenses, permits, certificates, insurance, pre-employment screening, reports and files required for security services.

Sites covered under the contract include centers in Glynco, Georgia; Cheltenham, Maryland; Artesia, New Mexico; and Charleston, South Carolina.

DHS is responsible for administrative and financial activities of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers network, which acts as an interagency body for 91 federal agencies and others at the state, local, campus and tribal levels.

International law enforcement agencies can also take part in training exercises at FLETC facilities.
