The Department of Homeland Security has issued a request for proposals for a potential 10-year, $3.35B indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers enterprise data center, colocation and cloud to hybrid computing infrastructure.
A solicitation notice posted Thursday states that the Data Center and Cloud Optimization contract has a five-year base ordering period, an initial three-year option and another two-year option.
DHS is seeking a contractor to help manage the department’s data repository located at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi and operate a future enterprise information technology hosting platform.
The notice says a potential vendor should provide access to at least two infrastructure-as-as-service providers through the DCCO environment.
Interested parties can submit offers through Jan. 21.
The department initially sought industry feedback on its draft DCCO RFP in July 2020 and updated the contracting timeline for the program in October.
