Deloitte Consulting has received a potential four-year, $106.4M task order to provide a development environment for the Department of Defense's Joint Artificial Intelligence Center to test, validate and implement AI-based tools.
The company will help JAIC design and build the Joint Common Foundation AI development environment under the task order awarded under the Systems Engineering, Technology and Innovation contract vehicle, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The award has a one-year base value of $31M, plus three one-year options that would extend work through Aug. 16, 2024.
According to JAIC, Deloitte Consulting will serve as the system integrator of JCF contractor service offerings to facilitate AI technology development efforts in an environment designed to comply with the Pentagon's development, security and operations principles.
