Datron World Communications has received a potential five-year, $495 million foreign military sales contract from the U.S. Army to produce radios and support equipment for Afghanistan.
The Defense Departmentsaid Monday the contract will run through Aug. 30, 2021, and the military branch will determine funds and performance location upon issuance of each order.
The Army received one bid for the firm-fixed-price contract via the internet.
