Curtiss-Wright (NYSE: CW) has wrapped up its acquisition of electronic subsystems manufacturer 901D Holdings for approximately $132M in cash.
The transaction was first announced in November and Curtiss-Wright said Thursday the acquisition expands its portfolio of control systems and instrumentation technologies as well as its work with the U.S. Navy on shipbuilding programs.
Curtiss-Wright will operate the acquired company as part of its defense segment and expects the transaction to expand its capabilities to offer shipboard platforms on nuclear and non-nuclear powered vessels.
Established in 1999, 901D operates with approximately 85 employees and supplies electronic systems and subsystems and ruggedized shipboard enclosure platforms designed to protect weapon systems, servers and other hardware aboard the Navy’s submarines, surface ships and aircraft carriers.
