A joint venture of Connolly-Pacific and Manson Construction has won a potential five-year, $154.8M contract from the U.S. Navy to perform dredging of a public boat channel and turning basin and an ammunition pier at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach in California.
Manson/Connolly Seal Beach JV will also provide mooring dolphins, striping, signage, fencing, excavation, relocation, installation, excess dredge material disposal, vehicle causeway fillers and habitat modernization services as part of the project, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Other services include the construction of rock armor shore protection, security, breakwater and wharf structures designed to facilitate naval base ship ordnance operations for amphibious vessels.
The firm-fixed-price contract has an $88.1M initial value and includes five options plus one potential modification award.
