Raytheon Technologies' (NYSE: RTX) Collins Aerospace business has secured a $126M contract to research, develop, build and sustain common avionics architecture systems for the U.S. Special Operations Command.
Collins Aerospace will support the CAAS and avionics and cockpit management systems used on the U.S. Army's special operations aircraft, the Department of Defense said Friday.
SOCOM awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-reimbursable contract via a non-competitive procurement and obligated $346,082 at the time of award.
Majority of the work will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
