Cape Wins $90M Air Force Environmental Restoration, Construction IDIQ

Cape Environmental Management has won a potential 10-year, $90.3M contract for environmental restoration and construction optimization support to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's installations directorate.

The company will also help AFCEC update remedial processes, drive site completion and maintain regulatory remedies  in support of a base realignment and closure initiative, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The U.S. Air Force received three offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract and obligated $1.7M in fiscal 2020 BRAC funds at the time of award.

Projects will take place at former Castle, Mather and McClellan AF Bases in California,

Headquarted in Norcross, Ga., CAPE offers construction, environmental remediation, fabrication, and industrial services to commercial and government clients.
