CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has won a potential six-year, $153M contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to modernize VA’s legacy financial management system, G2Xchange Health reported Monday.
VA received three bids for the Financial Management Business Transformation program and awarded the contract through the General Services Administration’s Information Technology Schedule 70.
A request for information notice posted in December says the contractor should support software design and develop, test and implement conversion software to facilitate the migration of data from legacy source systems to the Integrated Financial and Acquisition Management System or iFAMS based upon the Momentum Financials platform.
The contract also calls for the company to provide industry best practices for data quality assurance during the conversion, implement software to address data duplication across multiple VA source systems and provide related software development services.
The report said CACI has begun seeking new applicants to join its interface and data conversion team in support of VA’s FMBT program.
