Boeing (NYSE: BA) has landed a $89M contract to help the U.S. Navy install mission equipment and external stores on EA-18G and F/A-18E/F aircraft platforms.
The military service will obligate $482,841 in fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract runs through December 2022 and will take place in Tennessee, Maryland, Missouri, California, Pennsylvania and New York.
The F/A-18 Super Hornet is designed to support aircraft escort, close air support, reconnaissance and enemy suppression missions.
