Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) Insitu subsidiary has received a potential one-year, $195 million contract extension to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services for the U.S. Special Operations Command‘s unmanned aircraft systems.
Insitu will continue its ISR support for the Mid-Endurance UAS 1.5-B platformto help address a gap for services required for the MEUAS III transition effort, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
The command will obligate $3.3 million in fiscal year 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award and use similar funding sources to finance upcoming delivery or task orders.
