The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) a potential $211.9 million delivery order under a basic ordering agreement to repair flight control surfaces on F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G fighter aircraft.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the sole-source award covers the repair of 11 configurations of flight control surfaces used on the fighter jets.
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia is the contracting activity and will use the service branch’s working capital funds to obligate $103.8 million.
