Boeing Receives $202M Army Apache Helicopter Order

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a $202 million contract modification to build 22 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for the U.S. Army.

The Defense Department said Thursday the company will perform work under the modification in Mesa, Arizona, through Dec. 31, 2021.

The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity and the service branch obligated the full amount of the modification from its fiscal 2017 “other” and “advanced” procurement funds.

Army and international defense forces use Apache helicopters to locate, track and attack targets with the use of laser, infrared and Hellfire missile systems.
