Boeing (NYSE: BA) has been awarded a $95M contract modification to help the U.S. Air Force integrate and update a guidance kit designed to transform unguided bombs into guided weapons.
The company will conduct Joint Direct Attack Munition studies and analysis, test and software and aircraft integration efforts, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
USAF awarded Boeing a $250M contract last year to provide JDAM support services to domestic and international defense clients.
Work under the modification is slated to run through March 31, 2024.
